2500 YEAR OLD METAL MANUFACTURING UNIT UNEARTHED

An Ancient Metal Manufacturing Unit has been unearthed at Porpanaikottai near Pudukkottai.

SANITATION CONFERENCE INAUGURATED BY PM

Annu Rani broke her own national record by cross 60m long in javelin throw event in the 56^th Open National Athletics Championships in Lucknow.

She became the first Indian woman to cross the 60m.

Telugu author and scholar prof. Kolakaluri was honoured with the MOORTIDEVI AWARD 2015 for his novel ANANTA JEEVANAM.

BEST TOURIST FRIENDLY AIRPORT

 Andhra Pradesh Tourism awarded the Airports Authority of India’s Tirupati Airport as “Best Tourist Friendly Airport” under the category for “State Annual Excellence Awards for the year 2015-16”
